Hello. If I buy through my Account iWork applications for the iPad, does this mean that if I buy a iMac or MacBook, then I do not have to buy a version of the applications for these devices?

iWork for the iPad and iWork for the Mac are two different things. The program for iOS is different than the one for OS X.

I cannot answer how that would work on a Mac, I don't use one. If you download on an iOS device, you can transfer that purchase to your iTunes library on the computer and add it to another iOS device. However, I am not aware of obtaining it for Mac computers. Someone else will have to answer that question for you.

No one here would be able to answer questions about special promotions. This is a user to user support forum. Apple does not participate here and the users do not work for Apple.
